I use a length of hose pipe, I always fit and remove my tyres since I was charged £30 to fit a £10 tyre I got from Paddy
I use a rag and a shovel to break the bead, then remove the tyre with hose pipe and levers to remove.
Putting new one on I will lather it up with soap* then push on by hand, if stuck ratchet strap the tyre to the rim to stop it moving around then lever it on.
*rarely use tyre soap normally fairy liquid or bath soap. |
