Hi everyone I have a 2006 Kawasaki zx636 and it won't start. It was fine until I put on a aftermarket exhaust and took off the cables from the exhaust servo and now it doesn't start when I turn the key I hear everything activating but once I hit the ignition switch it does nothing it doesn't make a noise. Any suggestions anyone

No starter spinning?

If so, check your fuses/wiring, have you disturbed something when you were arsing about the can or cables?

As above I would be checking fuses first.

I'm pretty sure what you need is something called a "servo eliminator"/ "servo fix" for your bike.

it doesn't need the servo motor to run at all. You just get a little red light on the speedo.

Are you 100% sure, that the kill switch on the right handle bar is in the ON position?

Alright then, I'm not being funny here, the kill switch thing happened to many of us, many times before. Smile

Does the starter relay do the clicking sound when you press the start button? Some relays do have its own fuse mounted on them. Thumbs Up

This is a pretty common starter relay, used on various modern bikes of various manufacturers and displacements. It's got rubber cover over it.

To add to the the post above, if you bridge the terminals the starter should kick into life, if not give it a few taps then try again, still nothing happens get a new one.

Also if there is a fuse on the relay, it's usually a main fuse and if that blows nothing will work.
