150 is very cheap for quality trousers. You'll be looking for something second hand IMO.
Good trousers are available in long and short leg variants for each waist size. Check out goretex trousers on a site like getgeared, you'll see the size charts have long and short versions, e.g.:

Held size chart:

Not recommending these trousers especially, just saying where to find long trousers. My normal trousers are 30 waist / 32 leg, and I wear Held's long-leg small-size trousers. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4

I am also 34" inside leg, and took a chance on some textile trousers on eBay.
I found them to be pretty good for length when walking around, but they do tend to ride-up a bit when riding - but only when wearing jeans underneath with the thermal lining removed and connected to the jacket with the zip - so not worth worrying about.
Had them over 2 years now, no problems with quality.
They have a separate Website where the prices are a bit less than eBay.
I have no connection with the company, other than being a happy customer. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

The lidl/aldi stuff generally comes with long legs because they are a German company. So someone with a 38" waist is more likely to be over 6ft than the shape of a beachball like you'd get in America and increasingly, the UK.
For a similar region, there is a greater space allowance in the crotch area.
I got some Lidl motorbike jeans last year and actually had to turn them up, I'm usually wandering around in half-masts.
No textiles advertised on the current Lidl special on the 2nd of March but keep your eyes peeled. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

I have a 36" inside leg and bought a pair of IXS textile trousers from J&S last year - I am pretty sure they are the Quasar II (https://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/quasar-ii-pants-black.html). They are waterproof and have a removable thermal liner. I have been wearing these in all weathers, and haven't had any issues with the waterproofing as yet. I got these to replace my old Joe Rocket textiles which were too short, but I had put up with for a couple of years.
My advice is to visit a couple of big accessories shops and try a few pairs on - I have found that even within a brand the sizing can vary quite considerably. |
