I don't wear a jacket to interviews.
You'll need somewhere to stash your lid/gear though, you'll look like a knob carrying it around all day.
Oh, and good luck . |

Seems wrong to say this on a bike forum, but some places it may be worth leaving the bike at home rather than give them a reason not to hire you when you show up in a crumpled shirt from being underneath your leathers, damp from your waterproof gear leaking etc... Train/taxi starts to seem like a good investment if it means that you get the job
With that said, I've done it before, wore trousers, shirt + tie under my leathers, with suit jacket (carefully!) folded in topbox. Left all my gear with the bike and they had no idea until I mentioned how I'd got there.
In some companies it'll give you something to talk about in the interview to make it a bit more memorable, some places will disregard you entirely because the interviewer doesn't like bikes. ____________________ Former: CG125, SV650S, YZF600 Thundercat, Sprint ST 1050

Surely suit and tie is not required apparel for a gas fitters job? Surely most candidates will turn up in curry stained t shirts and ripped dirty jeans |

I have been to a few interviews recently, but I have a crease-resistant M&S suit and can wear the trousers under over-trousers, and fold the jacket neatly and store it in the top-box until I get there - or I can wear it under my bike-jacket if I take the thermal lining out first.
There's enough room in the top-box for the bike-jacket, gloves and over-trousers, if I leave the helmet on the under-seat hook, and I get there early enough to freshen-up and fix my helmet-hair in the gents.
If I didn't have a top-box, I would wear the suit underneath the bike-jacket and over-trousers, get changed in the gents when I get there, and ask the receptionist nicely to keep the gear stashed until I am ready to leave. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

Surely, your bikeiness is a big plus point to a potential employer, as it shows you're not tied to crappy and oft delayed public transport and neither will you be stuck in huge tail backs in you car. As such, you're more likely to arrive for work on time each morning. Of course, not all employers will necessarily see this logic... ____________________ Beginner Biker Adventures Blog

Bike should be a plus to an employer, means one less employee blaming lateness on cancellations/traffic, and the mind numbing tales of how they missed the 6.42 and couldn't get a seat on the 7:15 which was diverted via ____________________ They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa, hey-hey,

At the risk of stating the obvious. I used to carry my suit and my uniform when I was in the TA in a suit carrier.
Strapped it to the pillion.
They now make a thing called a skyroll which seems even more motorcycle-stowable. Looks like you'd get it in a drybag. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
