I'd be interested to see it working.
I image it would probably give a couple of cranks before being as flat as a fart.
if your starting it at home then something like a traditional Jump starter would be my choice.

its less then half the price too ____________________ "The guy is a worthless cunt and I honestly believe I would be a slightly happier person if he died." - Chris-Red |

I have a 'Maxim Auto Jumper' that does the same thing, but only cost just under £20
So far, I have used it several times on my car, once on the bike, and several times on other people's cars.
If won't fix a dying battery, but it will get you going if you have a senior moment and leave your lights on all day. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

They do work, and work well in short bursts, good enough to start most things if the battery is just flat. Endless cranking would melt something I think.
You can get Chinese Li-ion ones for £59 now.
I have a Micro-start xp-1 which is £150 and I've used it to jump start everything from a Vespa to a 6-ton diesel excavator. Also charged my phone and tablet from it from half-flat to full. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

I keep a charged van battery in my shed, and some jump leads. That's gotten me out of trouble plenty of times.
I also use it to power a 12v flourescent inspection lamp and also a small 12V tyre inflator when I am out in the shed tinkering
The battery on the bike surprised me, I last ran the bike in October and started it up for the first time
last Sunday. It started up first press, starter didn't even sound laboured, I honestly thought I'd need to
take it off for a charge. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

A chunky lead-acid battery is a handy thing to have in your workshop, but we're taking about something you can safely put in your pocket or under the seat on your bike. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
