I've got a car sized van already and will be shortly looking to get a bigger one for exactly the same reason.
Although a larger van for work will be handy too. I also often need to move 8x4 sheets and currently have to put
them on my roof bars. It's a pain in the arse. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

The mpg on my Kangoo 1.5dci seems pretty good, I can buzz around locally for a fortnight on 20 odd quids worth
and mines an old 03 model. Newer ones are no doubt even better. It's still over 200 quid a year to tax though.
Same engine in a Clio is 30 quid a year. It's all bollocks. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

Up until last year I had a short wheel base, low roof MK7 Transit... and I miss it!
Was cheap to run with euro4 tax and averaged around 30mpg despite me often driving it in quite a 'spirited' way
It was FWD so had the lower loading in the back. Had a GPZ500 in there no problems at all. ____________________ Current Bikes / Projects: 1999 Rieju RS1 50

The same cameras pick you up for running without tax/insurance etc, so it's not a giant leap to assume NIPs will reflect
vehicle type. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

don't quote with your own details. I have a Sprinter, and when I got insurance quotes I also went to see how much it would be with "hire and reward" use, for occasional weekend work etc. Anyway, it came out at a grand or so more, so I didn't bother. But, when I rang up Adrian Flux who where the cheapest for personal use only, they said "sorry, we can see you've run quotes for commercial use, so we can't sell you non-commercial insurance"
Didn't have it with anyone else, but Adrian Flux where considerably cheaper than the next cheapest, so it cost me a few quid. |

You need a spammer email account to thwart those controls.
I was almost dun ahp the bahooky by an broker who used my 'test' quote details from comparison site for my actual policy. They'd used the 'rubbish' info I'd tested with in the statement of fact.
I had to fite them to change it as they wanted to charge mid-term adjustment. The policy I had bought was with correct detail and I picked the cheapest premium.
One must be careful. ____________________ Disclaimer: The comments above may be predicted text and not necessarily the opinion of MCN. |
