Cylinder 2 and 3 not firing after shim adjustment

I've recently reshimed one of the cylinders on my CB400 which sorted out the compression problem I had, I've since put it back together and have found cylinder 2 and 3 are not firing (cylinder 2 isn't firing at all and cylinder 3 is firing but I can feel on the downpipe of cylinder 3 that it doesn't get very warm).

I've tested all the ignition system as per owner manual and all tests ok , I'm now wondering whether I put the camshafts in the correct position when reassembling the bike.

I now think that because the camshafts aren't in the correct position, that the engine isn't sparking at the correct points of stroke.

Is there anyway to identify when the coils spark for each cylinder? Suspect that might help me find out what's going wrong but can't think of anyway of doing this.

Lined up the timing marks as per below, but now a bit stumped, any ideas please?

If the cams were wrong then all of the cylinders would be affected. Check your valve clearances and if they are ok clean the carbs.
