Having more issues with my belter of a bike.

Brake light works fine but no tail light, any points on the bike you guys can suggest I check before I take it back to the garage it spends most of it's time in?

Lexmoto Lowride but doubt knowing the make helps since you don't get manuals for these buggers.

Thumbs Up

Other than giving the wiring harness a jiggle at various points, all I can say is that buying a £5 multimeter will save you a lot of time and guesswork.

What dealer, out of interest?

I would still buy a new bulb to try it , how much are they a few sqid..
It might look ok but It may be faulty..
I would always go for the cheaper option first ,, you might be lucky..
Hope its an easy fix Smile .

OR, do the day time MOT and give up. Dance!

Anyway, there should be 3 wires to the bulb, check them all.

Check for corrosion on the bulb holder contacts.

Did this get sorted?

I have a similar issue with my street 125. But i know that it is a dodgy connection. The rear light is linked to the light on the clocks, so i can tell if the rear light is out as the clocks down like up. This is intermittent and happens when the handle bars are turned. A good jiggle of the clocks and or the wires passing the handle bars to the clocks lights it back up again.

It usually goes out when the handle bars are turned to the right, and comes back on when turned left. Turning right stretches the wires. I think this is the issue, I pulled some slack out to the handle bars this morning and the lights stayed on all the way to work. So i have some wok to do to clean them up I think.

You probably sorted it by now but though this might help.
