Where is it tight? Shoulders, gut, chest...?
Leather has a certain amount of give/stretch in it as it gets used, but you shouldn't be in considerable discomfort with a new one. Good quality leather is quite thick and will feel a little on the restrictive side to begin with around the shoulders/arms.
Think about how will it fit with the liner removed too, in case you live somewhere that has summers.
I had a Jaws jacket that fitted real nice, 44 chest, sleeve length was good for me with long arms too, little bit of a gut but not huge.
But you have hit on a really sore point for me - only got to wear mine a few times (after getting it cheap where I worked at the time) before the 'hedge incident', and the buggers cut it off me Keep looking at them in the shops, but can't bring myself to pay out for another now. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017
