Yamaha DT125 R 88-03 Ignition Coil

Hey again people hope your all well

Right could some one tell me how to fit my new coil? I know the orange wire goes to the spade, but unsure where I earth the black one? does it go from one coil hole to the other Imber tween the coil and frame mount to create an earth?

Updates new stator is on the way hopefully won't have to replace the cdi

The earth wire usually fastens to the mount for the coil somewhere. It just needs a good connection to the frame and the coil mount usually sorts it.

BTW...."Imber tween" has to be one of the bestest spellings I've ever seen on this forum so far and has brightened up a potentially dull day for me

A spell checker that deliberately gets the spelling wrong? That's a novel idea.

Just a word of caution, a lot of people got thrown back in the racing days, expecting cheapie coils on Ebay to actually work. Is this a second hand original Yamaha or a cheapie Chinese coil?
