If theres too much it wont blow any seals etc like oil may/can. All that will happen is any extra will come out of the top of the system when its under pressure.
Don't worry about it. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

phew, well thats one less thing to worry about
thanks for the info, I think it is the expansion bottle I fill up but there is a sticker on it saying only fill it up from here so I guess the radiator get filled through the system. |

Too much oil can blow oil seals around the crank or anywhere in the engine to be honest by the increased pressure that can arise from having too much oil.
Symptoms could be something simple like an oil leak external to the engine or something like oil been used but not leaking (ie been burnt in the cylinders). ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!
