Looks quite cool, Kawasaki must surely be pitching directly at the growing Grom market.

Nice Exhaust and looks awesome, I probably would.

Z family, presumably?

Can't say as it looks that much like a Grom, though the smaller wheels and the forks are a bit reminiscent of it. Some aspects remind me of the Kymco CK1.

It doesn't look like a Grom, in the same way as fireblade doesn't look like a ZX10R, but they are similar.

If it didn't have the same size wheels it wouldn't actually be that similar, as obviously it's Kawasaki's 125 vision.

It's the size of the wheels that are key. Although the MSX looks small, the bike itself and ultimate riding position is similar to many 125's. The 12 inch tyres make it much lower to the ground and therefore look even smaller.

Meanwhile, the americans take a poor quality spyshot and make it worse.

Could they have not just sold a tweaked and updated KSR110 here instead?

It looks more like a Yamaha MT125 with small wheels, which is probably what Yamaha will make next anyway. Laughing

It is a shame Kawasaki have not taken the 125cc market seriously for well over a decade though! They went from having some cool 80's 125's and a pretty serious off roader (KDX SR) to having a small cruiser/custom style 125 called the Eliminator, just a few years ago.

How the hell can any bike be called an Eliminator unless it has 150bhp+, a wide back tyre, stable chassis and short gearing? Laughing

Slightly odd that they went with the Z family. I'd say it looks a hell of a lot more like a baby er6n. I guess Z125 is catchier than er125.

One of the photos I'd seen shows a Z125 PRO. Does that have a special hooker seat?
