fazer running issues

Hey guys
My fzs600 fazer runs perfectly at idle and if i blip the throttle it'll rev smoothly,
But when I'm riding it, it'll run on 3 cylinders until about 3800rpm before it'll come back on to 4 cylinders. And rev smoothly through to red line.
Initially I thought it was carb related, mainly because it was running way worse when I got it, I cleaned the carbs which made it better. It had a missing spring and o ring on the pilot?/idle Screw.

Any way I bought another set of carbs, which I sonic cleaned, and replaced the jets, and made sure they were balanced after I refitted yesterday. I made sure all the needles and diaphragms were good and were moving freely.

It's certainly made it run even smoother. But the low rpm 3 cylinder issue is still there.

Where do you reckon I should look next.

Mmmm. I'll give it a go.
Just seems a bit weird
that it's only in the low revs that it fails.

Mine suffered this issue not long after I bought it initially I thought it was the air filter so switched to a K&N although it improved it did nothing for the problem.

Next I the trimmed the HT leads 5mm off each one and bobs your uncle.

Ordered a new set of plugs and caps.
Had already trimmed the wires and tested the coils.

Fin: no matter how much I look at It I can't understand what was going through my head, all I remember is going about 80 and redlining it to stop it seizing.
