Beware if you use this route - LOTS of oil on the road at the junction of Tavistock/Southampton Street and partway along Henrietta Street. I've just this moment reported it.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.5111802,-0.1226057,19z

I was only doing around 10~15mph and went to slow down only to have the bike snake around. Even creeping along was quite hairy, it felt like I had a puncture because it was squirming around so much.

There's not even the tell-tale rainbow effect, there's so much oil the road just looks wet. After this happened a workman called out to be careful because of all the oil (would've been a bit more useful if he was warning people BEFORE they reached that part of the road) - so hopefully they're pro-active in cleaning it up.
