Been boot shopping today - I found some Sidis which accommodated my bunion. But Alpinestars and Belstaff were much too tight.

Not a cat in hell's chance with any of those for me.
The only boot I ever managed to find that was remotely close to the right size for me was the (Edit: blame old age for the wrong boot type listed earlier Rolling Eyes) Frank Thomas Tempest double zipped touring boots.

K width fitting and a high instep makes finding anything that fits my feet a tad tricky!!! Rolling Eyes

If you really can't find anything, pay a visit to Altberg in Yorkshire. Amazing quality (used by majority of emergency service riders) and custom made.

I manage to get away with a pair of Alpinestars SMX 5 Plus but I had to get size 14 and i'm normally a 12.

I've also had to go up slightly in sizes - normal shoes are 9.5 - 10, my Sidi Trial Zeros and A* S-MX6s are 11s.

I've always known Sidis come up a bit tight, so it came as no surprise that A* were the same, I just assumed it was a foreign boot thing.

Altberg, 3 or 5 width fittings depending on model, made to order may be available if you're spendy.

My feet are 8G - so fairly wide.

I wear Alpinestars Web GTX boots - they're really good.

Oxtar TCS come up wide.

I went up a size to a 12 and they have plenty of room. You may find it hard to get a pair now though because Oxtar merged with somebody and became TCX. I have not yet tried a pair of TCX.

I have huge flat wide feet, struggled for ages to find a brand that fitted me.

Merlin and Frank Thomas get my vote for wide foot friendly. Smile

British Army Goretex boots have wide fitting sizes. When you buy, just choose the “L” fitting after the size. I wear a 9L and they fit perfectly. Probably the most comfortable boots I’ve worn. Totally waterproof and at around £30 a go, they’re a hell of a lot cheaper than the Daytonas. Have a look on Ebay.

I've got wide feet and wear TCX Infinity boots. Extremely comfortable.

Sidi Black Rain were definitely too narrow for me. Did have a pair of something-or-others from Hein Gericke that were good, but lost one on Ben Lawers (don't ask! - and no, it had nothing to do with sheep. Or hedges.). Now in A* Web Gtx, which have plenty of room for me.

So I bought a pair of these https://www.icon1000.com/collection/icon-1000-elsinore-boot-2/ A good fit, comfy enough for longish walks, all the protection you could ask for, they can be resoled by any cobbler, and my trousers fit over them. Perfect really.

Don't wear bike boots because they all feel too tight so I wear these solovairs.
