Hi

I would be tempted to check the compression, mainly to see if it is substantially different on the cylinder that isn't working.

When were the valves last adjusted?

All the best

the valves havent been done

the bike has only 7000miles on the clock

i did have a thought that it could be a blocked passage way in the carb??? maybe

anyway thanks for the tip kickstart.

Depends on its life, but the valves might want adjusting but are unlikely to be far enough out (in that time) to cause this kind of problem.

Yes the problem could be with a blocked jet in a carb, but you have cleaned them out. Might be worth trying again.

All the best

i would go for checking carbs, does sound as iff pilot/slow running jet blocked
have you checked for muck in carbs as well, have you picked up bad fuel

you say you have checked plugs, have you swapped tham for new? or swapped them over, a test spark does not always mean a full spark in cylinder

good luck
