Nsr won't idle!

Recently decided to buy myself an nsr 125, have currently gone through a top and bottom engine rebuild, was running lovely and then I had problems with my starter motor either not working or staying stuck on and a couple days into this problem my bike now refuses to idle at all and seems like there is not grunt in the lower revs, I have to keep it at 2k just to keep the little cow running! If anyone has experienced this or knows anything then all your help would be vastly appreciated! Thanks👍🏻

Blocked Idle circuit clean the carb jets out.

check the choke piston and the cable
Under the choke is a robber bit which close the air passage and it could be worn (look dellorto site for 28PHBH spares change piston and spring)
also if the cable is dirty or with sharp bends it may make the choke stocked
if your starter get stocked it has nothing to say with the carb , so check the starter relay then your starter itself
