I bought a raspberry pi to play with and have setup a simple web server on it.

I've been keep an eye on the logs for apache, and noticed entries such as

Code:
185.25.151.159 - - [31/Jan/2016:07:02:24 +0000] "GET http://testp4.pospr.waw.pl/testproxy.php HTTP/1.1" 404 461 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0"

Should I be concerned or is this pretty normal?

Did a google search and google suggests it's nothing to worry about as I don't run PHP.

<-- You'll want PHP, for hijinks.

You're going to see all sorts of WTF? in there. If someone were to tell me that the internet is primarily autonomous now, I wouldn't instantly laugh it off. It's not worth worrying about though, as that's a very deep well.

You'll get blitzed with attempts to hack your server. I used to have a home Linux server with the ssh port open so I could administer it remotely, the security log was crammed with attempts to hack root using commonly used password phrases.

My logs now go to /dev/null, by the way, it's literally not worth wasting time or space on them.

Oh, if you're running off an SD card, I'd recommend that you set up a small RAM disc for anything that you do allow to get written:

True, but for a newbie it's a useful wakeup call to what a shitty world we live in.

Logs are the Daily Mail of info, they give you eye cancer if you expose yourself too much.

Ta will read through it at work, I guess this is to avoid the limited read/write of flash media?

Yup. There's likely no real need to write anything to the SD, unless you specifically want to retain logs.

Except that you can use them to feed Fail2Ban - a valuable tool if you have internet accessible services.

Binning logs is a bad idea generally, if you don't want to store much then turn logging down and up the rotation.
