Hi guys need some advice i've have the two dash signal indicator lights not working since i got the bike so i've changed the bulbs and visually the wires look ok Also the back brake right comes on when I pull the brake lever but when i use the foot peddle to brake it stays off. i looked at the fuses near the battery but im not sure. I took photos for you to see and also notice a fuse was missing but i've heard some are due to European bikes need it so its there for that. I'm a noob on this so i could do with some advice if possible.
cheers

Rear brake has a separate switch, operated by a second cable coming from the pedal, follow this back to the switch. Try pulling the operating rod further out of the switch than the brake pulls it, if this gives you brake lights then turn adjusting screw on switch until it is set properly. If that fails, trace wires from switch back to the connectors. Short both sides of the connector together with a paperclip or a spare bit of wire. If you have brake light now replace brake switch. Pattern ones are about a fiver. Remove paperclip.

as for your idiot lights, get a 5 pound multimeter and learn how to use it. Get wiring diagram from haynes or similar.

Tracking down electrical faults is a ballache. One of my marauders had a hacked alpart loom and took some sorting. My xv had aging cables in the loom. Patience and a multimeter.
