Omg I just found a guy on Youtube who calls himself the Royal Jordanian- I presume that's where he's from- he rides an exotic looking red, white and black bike- it's really pointy- personally I find it a little ugly- but jeeeeeeeeeezus the exhaust sound is absolutely fucking glorious- in his latest vids his new intro (maybe he started new intro in 2016 I don't know- I've only been watching recently) is just the sound of him revving it and last rev is so cool- it's like a lion roaring- man I would feel like king of the road with that sound but just on my dream bike which would be the Kawasaki Z100 for when I turn 22 and have done A license or the Ducati Monster 821. How is that sound achieved - I've never heard anything quite like it- is it the case you can make any engine sound like that but you'd have to compromise with performance or something. Such a fantastic sound man- such a head turner!!!! |

He took that thing out at the end which was making it sound not so good- what was that- also that means the original sound of the HN is like that- at first I thought that little thing was what made the sound- my question is: why does it make that sound and is it possible to modify a bike to be like that? |

The baffle. It quietens the exhaust. Many exhausts these days have removable ones, either a screw or a clip. When you remove it it gets louder.
It's just part of the design, probably aids assembly. Even if it were riveted in, you could drill out the rivets.
Watch this video, it's about car exhausts but it explains all about them

Yup. You won't get that sound out of an IL4, or even out of a 360 crank twin like my 800 on which the Nuda's engine is based.
The Nuda is specifically designed to produce that organic heartbeat sound, and RJ has replaced the whole system with a free-flow, then had the fuelling redone to suit it.
RJ has loadsamoney to throw at his bikes: you won't get anything like that on the cheap. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

He's replaced the headers and binned the cat as well, remember. Just slapping a dustbin on the end won't produce that sound. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
