I have no adblocking software at all and am rarely bothered by popups.
The interstitial adverts are a ballache though.
I don't know why they persist with the damned things anyway. An intrusive advert is one thing that will make me specifically go out of my way to avoid a company. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

Generally, because I am looking at sites (maybe wrongly) to download movies or stuff off the tv, (like older series stuff) you can go to the page, then when you make a second click on the item you are interested in, up pops a new window. Then, you cannot close simply by the red x button, but get a box come up saying 'do you want to leave this page' This is what I am getting.
Must add though, the first link add-on that J.M posted has stopped this so far. |

I also use Ghostery to get rid of stuff like Google Analytics and social (i.e. facebook) integration on sites. Stuff I never use and couldn't care less about. ____________________ 2004 R1 & 2018 XSR900 |
