Heat?

Cutting a slot into the head of the bolt an option?

wacking a slightly bigger allen key socket in has worked on stuck bolts in the past for me - bodgetastic though

Hammer a torx bit into it, I've never failed to remove one with this method.

I don't think it should be an allen key bolt on the exhaust flange...? It should be a stud and hex nut affair. If someone has put an allen key bolt in replacing the stud and nut, then they are a bodger of the first order and should be shot.

Remove it and replace it with a stud, and use threadlock to hold it in place.

That's the plan if I finally get the bolt out to replace it with a hex bolt it defo shouldn't be an Allen key one someone must of messed with it in the past the bikes 10 years only so that's probably the case 😕

Seems to be pretty standard on the Rotax 122/123 engine.
+1 for the "replace with stud" idea though Smile

Hi

Should be allen key bolts, and as standard hold on the exhaust stub and a small L shaped piece for the exhaust springs to hook on to.

Doubt you could do up a coventional hex bolt or a nut on a stud with the L shaped piece in place.

Allen key bolt makes life easy. Stud and nut would be the total bodge.

All the best

Katy
