Electrical fault - getting desperate! NSR 125r

Hey folks,
I posted this here before but to no avail.
I hadnt run my NSR 125 '00 for quite a long time, when I went to run it last week it started fine, but the elctronics wouldnt work. The indicators/headlights were very flaky, sometimes they would work, sometimes they wouldnt. Then I turned on my headlights/indicators the RPM meter and Temp gauge went dead, until i turned the indicators/headlights off.

Yesterday I went to start the engine to give it a run, and nothing happened. It is completely dead. I've checked all obvious things like battery charge (its charged fully) and connections. I have also resorted to changing the CDI unit and relay unit that sits beside it.

I have found what looks to be another relay unit behind the air-box, does anyone know what this is or if it could be related to my problem? Does anyone have *any* idea what this could be?!

I would guess that its a problem in the wiring loom somewhere. What you need to do is get a wiring diagram and then go and check every wire/connection in there.

Does anyone know where id get a wiring diagram online? I'm almost certain I came across a link to it before... oh how the time has passed!

I've had a similar problem before on an NSR, was a the fuse blown.

Have you tried bumpstarting it?
Give it a few bumpstarts if you haven't.

My RS with a dead battery displays similar signs; though is kickstart only, so always starts anyway.

Try cleaning your earth terminal on your battery and the frame where it attaches to.

I recently had the exact same problems with my NSR. It turned out to be corroded wires within the wiring loom. I didn't have the time to check all the wires within the loom so I got my mechanic to sort it out. It cost me around £120, the majority of it was spent on labour.
