Gsxr 600 k1. Wasn't charging it's battery. Stator was at fault (not getting any real ac voltage from it.

New stator now working fine.

Voltages in the battery reading 13.8 at about 6k revs. Raising from about 13.3 at idle.

This doesn't sound enough to me and feel I should get a new reg/rec (google says around 14.6 under load).

So is it enough or too low?

If you put the main beam the heated rear window and press the brake what does it show?
It may only pump the juice in if there is load.

It would be handy to connect an ammeter in line to see how much amps the system is drawing. Loaded and no load.

As above and note that reg/recs can sometimes work and sometimes don't.
I thought it not possible but have ridden with a plug in voltage meter and after a while it would stop working until the bike had been switched off/on again then it'd work for a while then crap out again.

Wasn't a mosfet one which I understand have an improved switching system.

Well it's the track bike so only light is the rear light and clocks.

I will check out if there's a drain on the electrics though.

Yeah, does sound low to me. 13.6 is about the lowest it should be I think but more like 14 - 14.5 I would think.
