I'm using these:
https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/191443?r=GS&gclid=CjwKEAiAjvrBBRDxm_nRusW3q1QSJAAzRI1tPQT3ugdhg1HDDI9UxHsVwf-BSMbhTZwTf6qM0G2GFxoCBYvw_wcB
which have, until now, been great. These are my "winter" gloves.. and arent that old.
My core isn't really getting cold. My arms sort of do though and i CAN feel its cold, even through all the layers, but i never get to the point i start shivering. My gear on the commute is as follows:
Boots: Sidi Adventure Goretex boots. These are great
Legs: thermal lined work trousers. Ebay waterproof textiles. Goretex ex army windproof over trousers
Upper body:
2 t shirts. then a long sleeved work shirt, then a jumper, followed by a weise textile jacket and an RST windproof/waterproof over jacket.
2 x neck scarf thingies.

I've got the same problem, muffs at motorway speeds are still horrible.
My heated grips should be turning up by this weekend and I can tell you from experience that muffs and heated grips are the ultimate solution.
Regarding the only heating the palm comment, if you're on the motorway then you are usually just sitting there without needing to brake or clutch so your fingers can be on the grips too.
I've only found muffs to leave the fingers cold when having to clutch loads and then my left fingers get a little colder than the right ones - no big deal really ____________________ Had: '06 CBR125R + '01 GSF600 + '07 SPRINT ST 1050 + '80 CB250 RSA + '93 Ducati 900SS

+1 to that, I've got the same gloves, only problem I find with them is that they are quite bulky so they can get a bit tight in the muff and it makes it harder to pull out...or get in in the first place ____________________ Had: '06 CBR125R + '01 GSF600 + '07 SPRINT ST 1050 + '80 CB250 RSA + '93 Ducati 900SS

I've got Blades and they worked well with just heated grips. Yes the backs of my hand got chilly but it was tolerable. Heated grips are the way to go, I thought they were worth every penny. ____________________ I want your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.

hmm.. its possible my arms/shoulders are getting cold enough that my hands, being the last in the chain, are feeling the worst of it.
I might need to put TWO jumpers on under the two jackets i already wear
Anybody used heated under gloves? I seen some fairly cheap on ebay (£30) |

I would say add hand guards to the mix as well.
I managed an entire winter wearing my summer gloves with just hand guards. Taking the wind chill off the fingers makes a big difference. Combo them up with muffs and your gloves and you should be sorted. |

Muffs + grips for me. These £2.16 pads actually work. No way would I do over an hour at motorway speeds without heating.
I don't know if you have the neoprene mitt muffs with the thumb or the plastic ones that cover the controls, but try and seal any gaps between the muffs and the bars. A cocoon of duct tape may not look pretty, but you're already out of the Cool Kids Gang just for muffing up. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
