Hi just joined the forum & im hoping someone can help me out
I've tried to replace the crash bungs on my winter bike (hornet 600) & as I've removed the bolt the bike has moved on the jack I was using, which means the engine mount bolt will not thread through,so I can't replace the engine mounting bolt,I need to lift the engine approx 4mm to align the holes
Sorry if this has been asked before & hope I can get some advice on how to solve this problem.
Many thanks in advance

It's normal to have to lever an engine about when fitting it. If it won't move easily you might have to loosen some of the other mounts a bit to gain a bit of movement.

Make sure that you do have the original engine bolt, they are usually fine thread so a standard thread bolt won't do.

Thanks I'll try loosening the other bolts to see if that'll do the job.
