Hello everyone

I have a question I hope you can help me with.

I'm 30 years old and I hold a full Portuguese driving license with A, A1 and A2 since 2011.
B and B1 since 2006

Do I need a CBT to ride in the UK?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply.
I saw that before but then I think I over searched as I saw other websites saying I would probably require it.

Thanks again for your reply

don't see why if you have an A licence. CBT is only to say you can ride around on L plates

EU Licences are Valid and issued in the UK, you have a full motorcycle licence.

Ah but does he. Simple question, simple answer. Did OP pass a class A motorcycle test in the the country where their licence was issued?

My idiot czech neighbour hadn't but swore that he had a licence, but had fallen foul of the stupid A (but for three wheeler) category. He really is stupid.

So, OP, did you pass a test and what test was that, on what size bike?

I've passed the test in a 600cc motorbike.
My license allows me to ride any motorcycle back home,no matter what kW it has.
It was two tests, a written one and the practical one, and there's compulsory lessons before taking the exams.

Stupid question but do you think this might change after Brexit?

You have a full licence to ride in the UK, you only need valid insurance and the Motorcycle must also have a valid M.O.T.
