Chain oiler on Varadero 125

Hi,

Does anyone here have a chain oiler on a Varadero 125? For the life of me I cannot find anywhere good to mount one

I had a scottoiler Vacuum on mine.

Mounted the resevoir under the seat, I drilled a small hole to let the pipe run down & two holes either side and zip tied it in securely.

It worked fine.

My bad, I should have said an oiler such as the Loobman or Totoro, which don't require any cutting of vacuum pipes or anything.

Most seem to attach these to the frame the rear peg bracket but there just isn't any room around the frame and nothing really to strap it to by the peg.

The instructions that you've been directed to show a space by the battery.

All oilers require either wiring changes or access to a vacuum.

Umm no. You are totally mistaken there. Not all oilers require access to wiring or a vacuum at all!.

The Tutoro works by a weight moving to release oil... No vacuum or wiring require

The Loobman works manually by pressing a button to release oil. Again, no vacuum or wiring required.

Also the photo showing the space by the battery in the Scott oiler PDF is actually not a picture of a Varadero at all. The battery is under the side panel, not under the seat and doesn't have enough space beside it. But yeah, thanks anyway

If you know so much about it, why are you asking for advice?

The loobman seems to need a connection of some sort from the button to the looby thing and anything that just uses a weight would be spewing oil when you aren't using the bike. I'm oooot....

I was asking for advice on where others may have mounted there's. As for the Tutoro, the weight actually stops the oil flow so how would it leak over the bike when it's not moving?

So in the same vein as your response, why reply to something you obviously know nothing about.

You see on my sig, it says I have a Triumph Sprint ST 1050?

It has a scotoiler on it. It's the same one I took off my FZR1000 exup. I wasn't scared to mess with the carb on the exup and knew how to use google to find a vacuum on the ST.

Finding the vacuum isn't the issue, I know where to find it, as already shown in the Scottoiler pdf. However not everyone wants to use a Scottoiler. However I sure will sleep better knowing that you have one and that you know how to use Google. Thanks
