Size?
110v construction site electrical equipment has similar but that looks smaller and its not usually threaded. Could be for PA use.

Looks a bit like an SP17. I don't think the centre is the same shape though.

Might be a CCTV connector.
It's basically a weather proof outdoor connector, so without knowing what it was used for, the searching for it would be hard as there are bundles of those types of connectors.

I know whats its for but that isn't really relevant to what it is.
The only thing I have seen it used on is heated clothing so low voltage and upto 20amp or so at 12v.
I have seen 3 pin versions used on LED lighting but nothing that lists the connector type.

It also seems like a DMX connector, but the pin layout is different to what I could find.

Half a story though. If you want something that does a similar job, an SP13/17 should do nicely. They come as flying plugs/sockets and with bulkhead mounts. I use one to attach the lighting for the trailer on my Bullet. Bulkhead mount socket in the taillight assembly and flying lead on the trailer.

If you want the socket to plug that into or an identical one, then an application would be helpful.
