hi guys. Can anyone help?

Bike 1976 gt500 suzuki with new battery. All bulbs checked and working.

When indicators switched left or right each side flashes fast but dash light doesn't work. If I disconnect left or right front indicator the dash light and rear indicator on that side stays on. I am confused Question

Any ideas how to fix problem

Earthing problem is usually to blame for those kind of flasher issues on a bike of that era, and I'm pretty sure your indicators rely on the frame earth contact where the stalks attach for their earthing. So check the earth connections are good and have clean metal to metal contact. Pay special attention to any frame earths on the back end, often to be found where the rear section of the mudguard attaches. Remember, rust doesn't conduct electricity in any meaningful way.

Also check the wattage of the bulbs is correct (excessively low wattage will cause faster flashing) and make sure the repeater bulb hadn't been replaced with an LED.

Cleaned up all earth's and everything now works as it should. Btw Stinkwheel all bulbs were the correct wattage so total load on circuit was fine.

Still confused though, can't understand why cleaning all four indicator earths would start the repeater light in the dash working - not something I've come across before. Still flash slightly fast but legal.

Old electrics can do weird things!!

A single repeater light generally earths through the indicator bulb on the opposite side. If there is a high resistance there, it wont. Causes endless entertainment when people replace stuff with LEDs because it needs to conduct in either direction. The outside of the bulb holder is also live when you indicate in one direction so if it starts blowing fuses when you indicate, look there first.
