Has anybody got one of these who could confirm what timing mark should be used on the crank when refirting the camshaft, the picture in the Haynes manual is rubbish and there is a F and a T next to each other so which one to use?

F usually means "fire" which will be before TDC minimum ign advance....

T usually means "Time" or TDC ( top dead centre, the highest point of piston stroke towards the cylinder head ).

You know which are the correct cam timing marks on the cam sprockets are and any cam chain droop and number of chain pins??

You set the engine to TDC by lining up the T mark. This is the one you use when putting the cams back on.

You adjust the ignition timing rotor so that you see the 'F' through a little window when you're setting the timing with a test light.

Do you have a Haynes manual? Read through the relevant section a few times until you understand how it's all supposed to work. It will save you from breaking something.
