Hi, i recently buy an NSR 125 (ZDCJC22B) - i think french
I changed oil,air filter but it works perfect untill 8000rpm at 8000rpm it stucks and doesn't go up to 9-10-11k rpm.
Goes max 80km/h.
What should i do ? Can you give me some advice or some steps to follow to solve my problem.. ? |

i will check that, but alains in the last topics said something about an "red shunt" under seat
i think there is an german limiter at 80km/h |

And when was the last top end refresh? Piston/rings and barrel?

Well, kind of. They change exhaust port timing to give more torque lower down, then open up at higher revs to increase top end power.
It just means the porting can be adjusted to give the best of both worlds.
I'd be surprised if this was the cause though, normally restricted bikes with non working (locked shut) powervalves, will still rev to 10,000rpm. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

for everybody and especially for you
french bikes are not limited at 50 mph
some swiss bikes have a limiter with a red shunt on the valves controler
german bikes have a CDI CI626A in order to limit at 50 mph for youth
but as french bikes have CI639 a special wiring must be fit to obtain the same result as above
as i dont like DIY for the wiring , i suggest to change the harness
PS i think our young fellow is a bit hard to convince  ____________________ the worst day fishing is better than the best day working |
