If it is cutting out at high revs, it can't be fixed by adjusting a screw on the carb.

The idle screw adjusts the idle speed. The fuel air (pilot) screw fine-tunes the fuel delivery between 0 and 1/8 throttle opening.

The only setting on the carb that will affect fuelling with a wide open throttle is the main jet diameter.

Check the fuel tank breather vent and the fuel filter. Cutting out at high revs is more likely to be a fuel starvation problem.
