Fork rebuild, do the bushes?

I'll be rebuilding the forks on my bike which is new-ish to me in the coming months once the weathers warmed up. The bike has 30k on it and will assume the bushes have never been changed.

Based on this would you change the bushes, do it based on inspection or assume they will be fine and just do the seals and oil?

They're typically about 15 quid each h so its false economy to not replace then every time you strip the forks.

Quite a good chance of damaging them taking it apart anyway in my experience so I'd just order them. Any time I dismantle forks on an older bike, one of the forks invariably lands up with the bushes overriding one another and sticking, leading to hours of sweating/swearing and knackered bushes. The other one usually just pops apart first whack

It would be really annoying to fit new seals then have them leak.

I would most likely change them. Ive had them without much wear after 50k on the sv650 I had, but on my fazer 1000 they were completely worn through and damaging the fork internals at 29k so just depends on the fork and its use.

I cant say for sure as it was a while ago, but I think I ended up ordering OEM bushs in the end as pyramid parts ones had a bunch of sharp edges and the coating already worn off in areas when I got them in the package.
