I bought a new(used) engine for my honda nsr125r and put it on. I got it working and moving but the gearbox is not very happy. It wont go to neutral when you are stopped, when you are moving it goes in neutral just fine. And also the clutch isn't right, when you are stopped and put it in gear the clutch doesn't disengage when you pull down the lever. Its a quite problem for me cuz my battey is dead and i have to pushstart it quite a lot. Some advice would be helpful. Smile

It is a clutch issue you describe a dragging clutch assuming it is correctly adjusted!
Get a clutch gasket, drain the oil, pull the clutch cover off and strip the clutch
Check the steel plates are not rusty clean all the plates and re-assemble
try again if still not cleanly disengaging try the plates from you old engine or a complete new set steels as well !
