Hello guys,

Pulled my old learner bike out of storage to sell,
But it’s developed an issue I know this is chinese crap but be nice to sell it running.

I’ll attach some photos of what I’m seeing aswell, issue is when switched on it fires up but will red line the engine straight away and sit there.

I have a tube from the bottom of the tank I’m assuming this is the breather so can just dangle but I also have a tube not connected that comes out the bottom of the carb? So a little confused tubes I’m holding one is from the tank the other under the carb

Any help would be appreciated as want this sold to get some bits for the mt07

Thank you

no photos attached.
But: there is normally a tube that drains the well around the fuel fill on the tank, so that overflow is drained away from hot engine parts. Also, the carburetor float bowl may have a drain tube connected, actuated by a turning a drain screw on the side of the carb.

Usually doubles up as the carb bowl overflow if a bit of grit jams the float needle open.

Does the throttle turn and return freely? It may be a stuck slide.

Could be stuck carb slide or stuck throttle cable, the cable may be stuck and when turning the bars it causes the throttle to be opened, check by turning the bars with the engine running.
