Ive only ridden the first gen one, mt09 tracer, not the tracer 900 with the longer swingarm
- Engine is mega fun and sounds brilliant
- Riding position was nice and good ergos, good compromise of upright/lean and fairly relaxed legs, good feeling of sitting 'in' it rather than on it.
- Fairly low seat height and decent cog, was easy to push around, have feet down at lights etc
-Fueling was pretty abysmal at part open throttle. Quite annoying in 30's trying to keep it steady as you have the throttle set still but it just feels like on/off/on/off etc, I was told this is better in the A mode. Also was told a remap/exhaust you can smooth it out pretty good.
- Suspension was so-so on the front, big bumps + the jerky fueling really upset it in some parts. Rear shock seemed fine for single rider.
- Stock screen caused really irritating buffeting. I'd imagine either super short one of a much larger one is the best option.
- Seat was rock solid.
- Dash was pretty crowded/intuitive and a bit hard to see in sunlight.
My conclusion was 6k was a steep figure for what it was offering. With that said, if one came up cheap, I would still have one as the engine and position made up for all the downsides, most of the others can be modded. ____________________ Previous : 09 Vanvan 125| 02' Sv650s || Current: 1999 Xj600n | 1992 DR650 RSE | 2005 Fazer 1000 |

Nice that you found one with the suspension already upgraded. Saves some expense and bother.
Funny that someone would do that and then sell after only 6 months though. I suppose they had their reasons. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017
