Banditshigh - RIP

Posted on the Scottish section but sharing here because he was fairly active on many boards for many years.

I'm afraid Banditshigh (Barry) passed away on Wednesday morning. He'd had heart troubles for the last few years and was in and out of hospital.

He was in again this week because of low blood pressure, I'd been messaging him Tuesday night and he said his temperature was "a bit high" (41!!) and they were putting him in the high dependency unit.

Then his sister called me the next day to say that he'd passed away early morning.

I'll try to post funeral details in-case anyone is interested.

I saw Barry as the model of stoicism under adversity. Even with the cancer and his medical troubles, nearly dying several times over th epast few years he always kept his head up and looked to the furture.

RIP Barry you'll be well-remembered and that's all anyone can hope for in the end.
