Have you connected the breather hose to the wrong point?
Sounds simple doesn't it, but I've did it before. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

If its directly connected to the carb, then its likely the carb float has stuck.
Give the carb a few knocks and see if it releases it or strip it down and clean the float bowl out. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

It only would take a tiny bit of grit to stick it open.
Check you haven't bent the float when you had it apart last. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

Like hex said, sounds like the float has stuck down, (like a ballcock in a toilet cistern) so is not stopping petrol entering the bowl. Therefore the bowl is over flowing, and you have a boot full of petrol ____________________ "I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me." Hit it with a hammer.
If you give the affected carb a few taps with a deadblow hammer, it can allow stuck floats to settle themselves down properly or dislodge a bit of grit from the needle valve. Do it whilst the fuel is running out, you will know if you have been successful because the flow will stop. You sometimes have to repeat this a few times if they are being stubborn. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen.
