Noticed a 2cm wide deep slit in my rear tyre. Seems to be right through the tread to the base of the tread pattern. Opened it up a bit and filled it with loktite superglue. Only had that tyre on there for 4 months.

Do you guys repair or replace in such circumstances?

Shocked

At least use rubber solution. Superglue is soluble (eventually) in water.

There's not a lot you could do to repair that, apart from maybe put a patch on the inside of the tyre to reinforce it slightly, in case it works it's way through.

I don't think superglue will last very long, you'd be better using some vulcanising glue (the type use to do puncture repairs) ... I think Thumbs Up

All the best ... Barry

Yes, you're both right - I only had superglue available though.
