z750 indicators flashing quickly

Both my indicators on the left side were flashing to fast, then the next day the back left stopped all together. I put in new bulbs but no change. I did notice I had loads of corrosion in both indicators. The one even had water inside the bulb. I've put a picture below of the corrosion. I did scrub the bit that makes contact with the bottom part of the bulb but no change. Would the other rusty parts stop a good connection?

Yes the one with orange rust water inside still works. I'm going buy a new indicator for the other one, only problem the bolt is rusty as heck and I can't get it off, and why is it seized bolts are always in tight spaces you can't get at. Very frustating Mad Mad Mad

My Russian bike has a novel solution to this issue. Instead of trying to seal the indicators with o-rings and suchlike, they made them with a small hole in the bottom of the shell so if water gets in, it can get back out again.

Ah not exactly within teh bulb then, the indicator enclosure.
