 |

Do you need to take the little plugs out of the battery to charge it up ? (The little plugs which stop the acid/deionised water coming out )
I've got a bike charger for it, but i've also got a fast car charger (halfords) which is rated upto a 1800cc for a car, Can i stick this charger on it and charge it up quicker ?
Urgent help needed !!
Taa

The battery isnt dead, its just i think its losing charge.
I think the regulater or a bad ground is playing up,but as the bike is "sold" i'm throwing in a new regulator and i'll give the battery a good old charging.
I have not got that much time to change the regulator and clean up the ground points,But the bike starts after a good few goes from cold, Its just that the lights dim and the console lights flicker when the revs are dropped.(This only happens for the first few miles)
Anyway the new owners will be able to sort out this niggley little problem quickly.
I'll Just get the battery out and stick it on for a day on slow charge.
Cheers to you both
