Wierd, I just shook the magic 8 ball on my desk and it said "VFR 400".
Strange, never seen it say that before
In all seriousness, the 400 is going to be a lot faster. Personally I think it looks better although the RS series are very sexy bikes.
you might want to look into other factors, i.e fuel consumption, insurance costs etc.

Id say that the RS 50 is that fastest by far. My mate recons he can get 97mph out of his rs 50. (load of bollox)
hehe. Lil ped bois on their rs50s.
Id say the VFR400 is faster than a RS 125. the RS does 100-110mph, and the VFR400 woud probably do 120-130mph. so its ur choice |

You missed one important question m8, which one handles better??????
The RS125
Also the vfr400 aint more reliable, the RS125 is just as reliable if serviced correctly, which is a common mis conception. 2t's have shorter service intervals and if these guidlines are not followed then thats when they become un-reliable.
And to the RS250 vs 400 question, RS250 all the way, especially on the twistys.
As you may tell, im quite a fan of 2t;s |

Have you ever ridden a VFR400? or even a RS125, properley? don't want to offend you but you're opinions on these bikes and the the general view of 125vs bigger bikes seems to be made up from other peoples views
You can't just say X will beat Y, because out on the road there are too many factors that will affect this.

a vfr400 would piss all over an rs125 as would a gsxr400,zxr400 e.t.c
if you mean a full power rs125 on a cat a2 license or a vfr400 restricted to 33 bhp on a cat a2 license
then the vfr400 would still spank the rs125's ass
unless the rs125 had a lot of mods done to it to make it push out 33 b.h.p other than just having the powervalve connected/fitted as they make about 26 de-restricted standard no matter what anyone else tells you
good god a sensible well informed post by me |
