Not quite sure why he wasn't using red diesel though?!

My 850cc reliant based trike has a 40L firkin barrel for a fuel tank. Somehow it does way better milage than my bike. Think it gets around 70mpg.

So thats what? lets see, 40L => 8.8 UK gallons = 622 miles!

Needless to say I've never filled it more than half way.

Now thats interesting! Laughing

Only filled up my bike once. It didn't really need doing, and the petrol station was on a slope so i couldn't fill it all the way to the top. Hence i only managed to fit £1.47 worth in the tank. And yes, i did feel a bit stupid when paying Embarassed

Can anyone beat that as a smallest amount of petrol?

Once put 98 pence worth in my moped.

Tank was almost dry, I was 15 miles from home and only had a pound coin. Quite lucky they didn't hit me with the minimum vend rule.

£4.37 is the most I've put in from a virtual empty tank and it lasted about 90 miles. Rolling Eyes

The least I have put in is 53p, when I needed that little bit extra to get home. Laughing

£70 in diesel in the truck fills it up. That`ll take me about 250/300 miles.

£6 in my RS, that doesn't last long though.

Went through £35 worth in 3 days when I first got her, but what can I say, you buy a bike to ride it. Very Happy

So far I've put 120 miles on it and not hit reserve yet Very Happy Seems a lot to me Confused

$8.07 to fill 'er. Lasts through the work week, then it's time to fill up for the weekend and then again for the start of the next week.

What's the difference in price between diesel and gasoline, currently?

Also I forgot to add what mine was, I have put £13.50 in my GPZ (16.28 Litres) and its has lasted so far 213 Miles Very Happy.

£13 will get me about 260 miles but that depends on the weather,
tyre pressure and the chain.

I do use that BP ultimate once a week which makes my bike run
that much sweeter.
