You should have everything you need in the tool kit that came with the bike.

Ah, normally would come with a small tool kit under the seat, basic screw driver, allen key and a couple of spanners. You won't need more than basic tools to take the carbs off and put them on again.

Get a manual for the bike from ebay, it will explain how to remove the carbs.

Also, check if the throttle bodies rise fully when you open the throttle?

If you mean the slides, then they wont move unless the bike's engine is running: They are CV-type carbs.

With the tools you have used so far you will be able to take those carbs off. Probably just need a long philips screw driver to get to the underside of the carbs (where they connect to the intake ports), to undo some screws that hold jubilee clips, These clips holding the carbs to the rubber shoots and to the intake ports.

Get a manual, it will make the job easier.

Tip use a bit of lube, on the carb rubber shoots (you will see what I mean when they are off) when you come to putting them back on. It will make them slide easily back into the intake ports. Instead of spending ages trying to push the carbs back on, like I did at first...
Only use a very small amount.

What bike is that mate?

I have done this to mine, just to see what they look like aswell Smile

Your carbs are connected to your engine by 4 reasonable large rubber tubes.. There will be 4 jubilee clips on the rubber tubes, loosen them (with a screwdriver or allen key) and 'jiggle' your carbs off.. and there you have it.. 4 shiny disks!

If you just want to see them.. Look down one of the carbs, using your finger slide the first cover (about 2 cms down) and accelerate the throttle. You will see them, they will be disks with holes in. Thats what you need to get to if you want them out. Smile
