Hi there!
I was idly thinking about custom leathers the other day, and I had an idea for a fairly cool design.
What I was thinking was black leathers, with areas picked out in reflective Scotchlite material (similar to that on reflective vests except white).
I decided that from both a style and safety point of view a kind of warning motif might be fun. I decided upon reflective chevrons up each arm like the black and white sharp bend warning signs.
I also thought it would be good to have a warning triangle on the back... and I found a number of images with the aid of google.
I just thought I would put up a poll to see what you lot thought would look the best in reflective material.
Here are the choices:
Flammable:

Heavy Machinery:

Poison:

Radioactive:

High Voltage:

High Voltage Machinery: (apparently!)

And finally, the old faithful!
Warning:

Now, potentially this could end up on a set of leathers so please be nice. I am also open to suggestions, but I think the warning idea will probably stay in general.
Also, if any of those arty types would like to PSP/Photoshop something up, I wouldn't complain!
Any other thoughts and suggestions are also welcome!

I like "heavy machinery" myself, although the high-voltage with a skull on it is kinda cool....... ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |

Bear in mind if you are in an accident there is a chance that medical attention will be held up until they can get a specialist associated with the type of hazard you are representing. I know, sounds ridiculous but they are within their rights to do so, and have done in the past.
Biohazard is a particularly poor choice for this very reason ____________________ I'm immortal. Well, so far. |

Nah. looks too fiddly to be made into Leathers.
I like the high voltage skull one, and that would be worth the effort. Biohazard is too simple a design to pay lots of money for complex stitching.
I'm liking the high voltage one so far... ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade

Another reason to avoid the biohazard symbol is that it may cause people to assume that you are post pubescent angry young man, who enjoys listening to crap metal bands. ____________________ I was only doing what it said on my licence officer....

The Radioactive one, just because it would be amusing seeing the FBI chasing you up as the real reason why America went to war with Iraq. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
