My idea is to get some of that chemical/metal putty, and bodge it back on.

Make sure the lights are aligned before you set/glue them !
Might be a pain in the arse if he say's its too low.
IMO i would gaffer tape them, at least you've got some movement left to play with . Thumbs Up
