Hi mate I found when fitting my Micron to my ZX-6R I had to alighn it perpendicular to my bike by eye and then tighten the supplied wiggins clamp, then start and take the bike out for a nice fast run meaning over 60MPH then return home to re-tighten the wiggins clamp because the metal expands and contracts under heat changes thus requiring a good firm torque setting other wise you will hear a vibration, it will just be the conection coming loose so there you go, no need for a specialist job because they will probably be a bit heavy handed and will probably cause a scratch here or there ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |

I like the sound of the riding bit, but i think i'll leave the fitting to someone who knows what they're doing. |

Hi,
Fitted my can tonight, took me aroun 2hours. Most of that was spent takeing the old can off and removing the new on once i got it fitted cus when it had been taken off the other bike it was on they had put a spacer back in the wrong place.

I'm sure the Venom will be fine mate.
Best advice i can give it to get everything on but don't tighten anything until you're happy. Nip everything up and take it for a ride. When you get back be careful of the hot pipe and can but check the clamps / bolts again and nip up any that seem to have loosened. The metal expands when it's hot and can loosen things but if you nip it up when it's still hot they'll be rock solid when it cools and contracts again (advice taken from MCN 19/01/05, but also from my brain )
If you're not happy with the Venom, Arrow have a long standing relationship with Suzuki and the GSXR and their titanium cans are stunning (but pricey) ____________________ My Bikepics page!
