I've just bought a sachs xtc125 2001 the previous owner fitted some aftermarket rear indicators and he told me that they didn't workj properly but are easy to fix. I can't remeber what he said so can you help me out? When you switch the indicators on say on the left they go on but don't blink i don't have a clue what to do!
Thanks Adam

Think it's something to do with the wattage of the bulbs.

Do a search and you'll find loads of posts lurking around here to help you out. Thumbs Up

There could be a fault with the bike's turn signal relay unit as it's supposed to alternate the power on/off to make the indicators flash, either that he has wired the aftermarket indicators around the wrong way round. There should be a wired connection block located just under the bike's seat so try swapping the wires around that connect from the indicators.

Every indicator comes with a basic foot or so length of wires from it with a connector on the end. so just follow the wiring from the indicator till you reach the connection and swap around what wires that connect to see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't, then a closer look at the signal relay unit is required for a possible fault.
