Today I went flyscreen shopping and on the way picked up a friend who went pillion (our own proximity).

When pulling out of the end of his road, this guy in a white clio with gold alloys pulled out on me so I gave him a blast of the horn to make him aware I was there.

This sent him into a complete hissy fit ( Laughing ) and he started swerving all over the place and pulled over so I went around him.
we were in traffic so I couldnt just blast away and I had a pillion.

This guy then was tailgating me and swerving around trying to get me to pull over. No chance was I pulling over.

then he pulled along side me and was trying to get me to pull over so i gave him a "sorry" (sorry for fuck all you are the wanker) wave.

and he pulled off.

This seriously shit me up as I had a pillion and for a second I thought he was going to try and knock me off.

Fucking cagers with anger issues. Middle Finger Neutral Middle Finger

Not got much to other than if someone is tailgating you slow down, continue slowing down until they actually back off. Makes it very easy, if they want to go really slow then thats up to them.

As Krs says, if you had stopped then you do have the advantage with wearing a helmet, gloves and boots if you're wearing them.

I was wearing full kit.

But I stayed calm and didnt react.

But I really thought he was going to try and knock me off.

Thing is because jay was on the back I couldnt have buggered off like I would if I was by myself.

also there was a lot of traffic so I couldnt have just left him standing.

Some bloke wearing tracky bottoms and trainers with a parka, no gloves and a bike helmet on spat at my dad while waiting in traffic before.

So my dad lost it and punched matey on the bonce, while he had the helmet on and the bloke fell off of his bike! This happened because my dad looked at his 98 R1, and said "mmm, nice bike that"

Not really Silver read above post! He suffered no injuries at all, as he knows how to punch, however someone who doesnt know may damage themselves!

You don't properly punch someone wearing a helmet with your fist unless you've got armour on. What you want to do is strike them with the heel of your hand. It stops you cutting your knuckles on their face if they've not got a helmet on too.

Ive seen a fight in a car park after a scooter rider hit the side of a stationary car while showing off to his girlfriend. After an exchange of words the car driver grabbed the front of his lid and dragged the scooter rider all round the side of the car park throwing him into and dragging him back out of at least three rose bushes.
By the time he finished the scooter rider had a pretty messy stomach, scratched to bits and a few boot marks to give it a nice finish.

Once someone is off balance they are helpless, and giving a handle on the front of your face to your opponent is giving him a massive upper hand.

On a more serious note it doesnt matter how many of you there are. It only tkes one little weedy kid in the car with an attitude and a knife to kill you both in an instant or disfigure you for life.
Ive also seen someone stabbed in the stomach and sat with him in the ambulance. Its not pretty. The kid with the knife was 14 and started the fight because my mate apparantly 'looked at his brothers bird'.

A real good reason to spend two weeks in an ITU ward.
I think riding off was the right thing to do.
Lifes too short to die in a fight to some wanker you dont even know...

Thats some pretty fucked up stuff there nick. People are getting really shitty, its getting to the stage where there are starting to be more wankers than decent people.

I was with dods and it really did seems like the knob wanted to hit our back tyre. Looked like he had his family in the car too, the tail.

But your right, it was a pretty fucked up night. It was about 12 years ago now.
Turned out the kid with the knife was well known to the police and had a history of being a bit handy with a stanley knife too.

He was charged with wounding with intent in a juvenile court, but we never found out what he got because as a juvenile court there was no public gallery and no reporting.

Talking of knives.
There was a big court case last summer that made the national news after an incident in Kingston Town Centre about a year before.
A group of four people, 2 of them women coming out of a resteraunt got involved in a fight with a gang of kids when they went to the aid of another kid they were beating up and chasing. All four were stabbed.
One of the women was stabbed multiple times in the face and one of the men was stabbed multiple times in the stomach, the other two had serious knife wounds to hands arms legs and backs.

All the kids were arrested. Only one was over 16. The youngest one was 13.

Hows that for fucked up.

Knives scare the crap out of me...

Gota disagree there mate! Laughing
I once had a race with some kid called joe. And we were riding back up to the carpark and he swerverd over to the kerb and I was giving him the had signal to come back towards me and away from the kerb.

He thaught I was saying "Cmon then" sort of thing, He lost control, hit the kerb and eventually stoped (didnt crash)

I stoped, walked back to see if he was ok, He took his helmet off (His ONLY bit of protection) and he said "You F**King P**CK and smacked me in the head. He then fell to the floor crying with a broken knuckle and a sprained wrist! Laughing

I had no need to hit him back as he was in enough pain as it was, I just pushed him over with my foot (as he was crouched down) and I walked off! Cool

I'm not sure quite what you're disagreeing with, as your story sums up my point nicely. Very Happy Laughing

If you must punch them, they've no armour over their solar plexus. A quick jab (uppercut/ rising punch/ whatever you want to call it) upwards just below the ribs should wind them well enough. The head is overrated as a target IMO, as unless you hit it right, you stand a fair chance of hurting yourself, and you're pushed to hit it in a lot of situations. A knee to the gut/ pelvis seems a little better than trying to hit someone in the head, especially in a clinch. Mind you, if you're that close, you can get under their chin quite well, and a nut to it wouldn't do them much good.

For what its worth, I think these things are rarely worth remembering, let alone getting in a potentially dangerous situation for. The bigger man (who does not need to feed his ego) will walk every time. Only the guy with a self image problem needs to prove that he is as big a tit as he looks.

Well done for not taking the bait.

But hey, I'm a lover not a fighter. Wink

(That said if someone drives like a tit, I will ensure that they take longer to reach their destination)

On the subject of road rage, I had an altercation this morning with a fat twat in a Volvo! On a two way section on the North Circular in London he was going about 25mph in a line of cars, but his offside wheels were over the white lines in the middle. If cars (and vans) drive near the kerb there is plenty of room to filter, so I gave him a friendly toot, he saw me but did not pull over for about 500 metres. My view is, oh well, however the road opens up and he continues to deliberately straddle the white line. I pull back and am able to 'undertake', as the road is now three lanes wide approaching some traffic lights that are red - as I go past he swerves his car in my direction, having anticipated this I react accrodingly, and calmly, and give him the w*nker sign with my right hand as I am decelerating for the red lights. I stop at the front having filtered past two cars and observe he has got out of his car and coming over. I put the sidestand down and quickly dismount & turn to face him.

I then get a load of verbals, anger and fist shaking. All I do is put my hand out like Neo in the Matrix, beckoning him to come forward, saying absolutely nothing. He then gave me some foreign 'up yours' sign and got back in his car. I appear to be in a sanguine mood today so felt no emotion, which was probably best.

Too many tossers out there now though that are quite willing to piss you off and wind-you up to the point of explosion...

Best to walk away from these incidents, you go over and twat the guy then you are the criminal. You'll have a record in no time for hitting someone because they pissed you off.....

Laugh at them and walk away, it will annoy them more than they annoyed you! Thumbs Up

I agree 100%. I thought it best to get off in case he shoved me and I ended up having half a ton of bike on top of me. I'm still in a calm frame of mind today......mind you I have the homeward journey and the wife to contend with later so I'm sure I'll revert to normal later.

in the event of someone squaring up to you and you know for sure they are going to attack you kick them in the knee as hard as you can

one broken leg job done

always try and get out of close up fighting as it will more than likely end up on the ground

oh and always better to try and get out of trouble

but remember if someone is intent on doing you harm then strike first

as its unlikely they will feel any remorse about kicking your head like its a football

If they attack then sure, kick the crap out of them but all I'm saying is best to avoid that type of trouble.

You hit them first even tho 'they started it' then you are the bad guy in the eyes of the law.

I'm sure the twat will be all cocky and show off macho type but most of these folk crumble and cry as soon as you strike a blow, they will have you charged in the blink of an eye.....
